Collections Account Manager

Location: Burnaby, BC, Canada; onsite

Salary: CAD 26.32–27.00 per hour

RB Global operates an omnichannel marketplace for commercial assets and vehicles through auction sites, digital platforms, and technology-enabled services.

What you will do

• Manage early-stage collections for primarily commercial and some consumer accounts.
• Prioritize team accounts and negotiate payment timelines, partial payments, and default fees with customers.
• Resolve early defaults and account collapses, presenting solutions to management.
• Identify process gaps, recommend improvements, and help reduce the collapse rate.
• Track and report work-queue results using Excel and qualitative feedback.
• Handle operational issues and other assigned duties.

Requirements

• Five years of collections experience in auto loans, commercial collections, or financial institution portfolios.
• Self-motivation, initiative, and the ability to identify process improvement opportunities.
• Strong communication, listening, questioning, and probing skills.
• Excellent phone etiquette and written email communication.
• Legal entitlement to work in Canada is required.
