Accounts Receivable Specialist

Location: On-site at the Toronto Branch in Milton, Ontario, Canada
Hours: Monday–Friday, 9:30 AM–6:00 PM

Pay: $32–$36 per hour, with significant growth and earning potential

What you will do

• Manage an assigned portfolio of customer accounts through phone and email communication.
• Resolve past-due balances by identifying root causes and developing payment solutions with customers.
• Maintain accurate account records and document collection activity and customer interactions.
• Collaborate with Cash Applications, Credit, Customer Service, and Sales teams to reduce aging and minimize bad debt.
• Identify process improvements that enhance the customer experience.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-focused, solution-oriented mindset.
• Experience in collections, accounts receivable, or customer service is preferred.
• A bachelor’s degree is preferred.
