What you will do

• Evaluate creditworthiness of new and existing customers and maintain related security files.
• Create and implement collection plans for overdue accounts, communicating by phone and electronic methods.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders on awareness of high-risk accounts and resolution of outstanding balances.
• Ensure credit activities comply with corporate processes, policies, and internal controls.
• Provide administrative and daily support for the Credit Department, including managing reports, presentations, and data.

Requirements

• High School Diploma with 2+ years of experience in Accounting/Finance, or a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or similar (0 years acceptable).
• 2+ years of experience in Accounting/Finance, preferably in credit, accounts receivable, or financial analysis.
• Experience working with strong internal controls.
• English: Professional level (written and verbal)
• French: Professional level (written and verbal)
• Advanced communication skills and advanced Microsoft skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Nice to have

• Working knowledge of reading and understanding corporate financial statements.
• Experience interpreting financial viability from a risk assessment perspective.
• Experience obtaining security documentation and guarantees.
• Experience with SAP.
