Salary: $42.36–$52.95 per hour

What you will do

  • Develop, implement, and enforce safety policies and procedures for construction sites.
  • Conduct inspections and risk assessments, identify hazards, and implement corrective measures.
  • Investigate accidents, near misses, incidents, and safety violations and recommend preventive actions.
  • Coordinate safety training, PPE compliance, emergency response readiness, and safety records for employees and contractors.
  • Participate in audits and compliance assessments and liaise with regulatory agencies.
  • Maintain project documentation, support quality control, and communicate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or at least 2 years of related experience in occupational health and safety, industrial hygiene, or a related field.
  • OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety certification; CSP or equivalent certification is also required.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations, construction and solar industry practices, emergency response, risk management, and safety equipment.
  • Strong communication, training, leadership, problem-solving, decision-making, reporting, and quality assurance skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook; valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring employer sponsorship now or in the future.
