Bridge Superintendent

What you will do

• Make safety a top priority across bridge construction operations.
• Hire, train, develop, and lead craft personnel and crews of 20 or more employees.
• Coordinate work with crews, project engineers, safety managers, clients, contractors, and suppliers.
• Monitor schedules, manpower, materials, equipment, deliveries, and production progress.
• Ensure construction complies with drawings, specifications, contractual requirements, company procedures, and industry standards.
• Track budgets, apply cost-control measures, identify project issues, and support solutions with project management.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of experience as a foreman or supervisor in highway heavy construction.
• Strong knowledge of bridge construction, structural concrete, forming, concrete placement, and finishing.
• Experience with cost management, planning, and scheduling.
• Experience managing crews of 20 or more employees.
• Strong written and verbal communication, attention to detail, motivation, time management, multitasking, and prioritization skills.
• Valid driver's license and the physical ability to work in a construction site environment, including standing, walking, crawling, bending, reaching, climbing, lifting, and carrying materials.
