Superintendent II

Location: Colorado Springs, CO; requires travel to project sites and availability for long-term out-of-town assignments.

Estimated pay: $89,600–$172,000 annually.

What you will do

• Manage on-site construction activities, field operations, productivity, schedules, budgets, cost codes, and production reporting.
• Direct trade contractors and suppliers, coordinate procurement, and ensure schedule adherence, quality performance, and insurance compliance.
• Develop site-specific safety and quality plans, lead safety meetings, identify hazards, and maintain compliance with AP and OSHA requirements.
• Coordinate with project managers, owners, design teams, city officials, government agencies, and private agencies throughout construction and closeout.
• Support pre-construction through constructability reviews, scheduling, quantity take-offs, pricing estimates, procurement planning, and punch-list management.
• Contribute to proposals, presentations, client loyalty, industry networking, and future project procurement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or a related field with 6+ years of directly related experience, or a high school diploma/equivalent with 10+ years of experience.
• Proficiency with Procore, P6, MS Project, Excel, AutoCAD, and project management software.
• Strong understanding of building plans and specifications, value engineering, life-cycle costing, construction operations, and safety compliance.
• Current or ability to become current with OSHA 30 and company safety requirements.
• Ability to climb, walk, lift, carry, push, perform repetitive activities, and occasionally lift or carry up to 100 pounds.
• Ability to work in sometimes extreme climate conditions and manage multiple priorities under time constraints.
