Commercial Construction Superintendent

What you will do

• Direct on-site project workflow in line with the schedule, safety requirements, and quality standards.
• Lead jobsite safety, administer the safety program for subcontractors, and support inspections and incident investigations.
• Coordinate with the project manager on scheduling, installation methods, sequencing, and schedule commitments.
• Maintain daily activity and site-condition logs, work orders, tickets, punch lists, and project closeout documentation.
• Lead site staff and subcontractor coordination, organize site resources, and arrange temporary facilities and utilities.
• Identify scope, schedule, and long-lead-item risks early and implement solutions in collaboration with project and operations teams.

Requirements

• 5+ years of commercial construction experience, including work with a commercial general contractor.
• Strong knowledge of building processes and construction best practices.
• Ability to organize people, tools, time, and other resources to meet tight deadlines.
• Experience as a superintendent or project lead is preferred; a four-year degree in construction, engineering, or business is strongly preferred, with additional experience accepted in lieu of a degree.
• Ability to use project-specific software, including Microsoft Office, Procore, Adobe, and Bluebeam.
• Ability to walk or stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Nice to have

• OSHA 30 certification.
• Experience with tenant renovations, service work, occupied spaces, weekend work, or fast-paced projects.
