TL;DR
Aircraft NDT Inspector IV (Straight Flight) (Aerospace/NDT): Leading complex aircraft inspections and certifying airworthiness and Return to Service compliance with an accent on nondestructive testing, FAA/EASA regulations, and detailed inspection documentation. Focus on resolving significant compliance issues, auditing maintenance processes, interpreting complex technical schematics, and mentoring junior inspectors.
Location: Centennial, Colorado, United States; onsite work at the work location is required.

What you will do
- Lead and oversee complex nondestructive testing and aircraft inspections.
- Inspect aircraft, systems, equipment, and components for airworthiness and conformance with manufacturer specifications and government regulations.
- Approve Return to Service and certify aircraft airworthiness after maintenance and modifications.
- Develop inspection protocols and maintain standards, methods, and procedures under the 145 Repair Station Manual.
- Document findings, resolve significant compliance issues, and conduct periodic maintenance-process audits.
- Lead training and mentorship for junior inspectors.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; a relevant higher-level degree may substitute for experience.
- Typically 10 or more years of relevant experience, including 7 or more years in a 145 Repair Station environment.
- No prior FAA violations and thorough, advanced knowledge of aircraft, aircraft systems, equipment, and parts.
- Experience applying product audit and inspection processes and interpreting complex technical schematics, diagrams, blueprints, manuals, and publications.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to the work location.
- Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, protected individual, or eligible to obtain the required U.S. government trade authorizations.
Nice to have
- Current FAA Airframe and Powerplant certification and Inspection Authorization designation.
- Ability to obtain repairman certification.
- Understanding of 14 CFR Chapter 1 and experience with Corridor ERP or computerized maintenance tracking systems such as CAMP, Traxall, or Cescom.
- Experience with heavy repair, modification, and inspection of metallic and composite structures.
- Aerospace and defense, U.S. Department of Defense, or U.S. military background.
