Production Lead (Packaging Manufacturing)

Location: Romeoville, Illinois, United States; onsite production and warehouse setting

Salary: $47,840 annually, plus annual incentive plan

What you will do

• Back up the Production Supervisor and lead large groups of production associates.
• Inspect production lines for complex or critical jobs and maintain knowledge of production rates.
• Work with the Quality Department and plant management to achieve production results.
• Ensure work packets are completed correctly and accurately.
• Train production staff and assist Line Leads with training Line Workers.
• Maintain a safe work environment and perform relevant computer-system functions.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent desired.
• At least one year of related warehouse production experience or training.
• Ability to lead or supervise large groups of associates.
• Understanding of quality standards, methods, and reporting.
• Strong communication, teamwork, multitasking, planning, and instruction-interpretation skills.
• Ability to work on foot throughout the shift, including walking, standing, bending, and frequent lifting of 25 pounds or more.
