EPC Project Manager (Solar Energy)

Location: US, Conshohocken, Pennsylvania; travel to project locations up to 30%

Salary: $108,000–$135,150 per year, plus annual bonus

What you will do

• Manage photovoltaic solar and energy storage projects through development, construction, commissioning, and turnover to Operations.
• Define EPC requests for proposals and scopes of work, participate in EPC selection, and support contract negotiations.
• Act as the Owner’s Representative for EPC contract management, including schedules, budgets, scope, subcontractors, EHS plans, permits, and deliverables.
• Coordinate utility interconnection, testing, permitting, jurisdictional approvals, and project documentation.
• Manage relationships with EPC contractors, vendors, utilities, landowners, customers, government agencies, and other project stakeholders.
• Lead project status meetings, quality inspections, construction turnover, and coordination across engineering, commissioning, procurement, legal, finance, and operations teams.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in engineering, project management, construction management, or an equivalent field.
• 5–10 years of professional experience in construction project management.
• Experience with distributed generation or utility-scale photovoltaic solar construction.
• Familiarity with photovoltaic solar design, technical standards, and civil and structural engineering principles.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel, CPM scheduling, and Microsoft Project or Primavera P6.
• Strong communication, presentation, stakeholder management, and conflict-resolution skills.
