Sourcing Lead (Supply Chain)

Location: Hitchcock, Texas, United States; hybrid work arrangement. Domestic travel of 10–30% is required.

What you will do

• Lead sourcing workstreams for new product development and cost reduction initiatives in existing production programs.
• Partner with Buyer/Planners, site teams, operations, engineering, and suppliers to identify and implement savings opportunities.
• Lead supplier negotiations, cost-out initiatives, and re-sourcing efforts aligned with business objectives.
• Connect enterprise category sourcing strategies with site-level execution across locations.
• Identify synergies across sites, suppliers, and legacy organizations during post-acquisition integration.
• Develop tracking tools, reporting cadences, and communication frameworks to improve visibility and accountability.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in supply chain, strategic sourcing, commodity management, or procurement.
• Experience with new product sourcing and cost reduction initiatives in production environments.
• Strong negotiation, cost analysis, relationship-building, and project management skills.
• Ability to influence without direct authority and work independently in decentralized, ambiguous, and evolving environments.
• Ability to travel domestically 10–30%.
