Procurement Sourcing Specialist (Manufacturing)

Location: Fully onsite in Sidney, Ohio, USA; not eligible for hybrid or remote work. Travel up to 10% may be required.

What you will do

• Lead supplier transitions, resourcing activities, and sustaining procurement projects.
• Coordinate supplier-change launches with Operations, Planning, Engineering, Quality, Logistics, and Supply Chain teams.
• Develop project timelines, action plans, risk assessments, milestones, and status reports.
• Drive accountability among internal stakeholders and suppliers to ensure deliverables and operational readiness.
• Monitor critical activities, mitigate risks, prevent supply disruptions, and maintain continuity of supply.
• Support sourcing strategies, procurement implementation, supplier performance, and supply-chain improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, Economics, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
• At least 3 years of experience in tactical sourcing, procurement, or a related field.
• Understanding of purchase order lifecycle, cost and price analysis, and logistics processes.
• Strong project management, communication, organization, collaboration, problem-solving, and process-improvement skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and data visualization tools.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Experience with supplier transitions, resourcing projects, or procurement implementation in manufacturing.
• Familiarity with project tracking tools, sourcing documentation, ERP systems, Access, and PowerPoint.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency and experience building stakeholder and supplier relationships.
