Strategic Sourcing Manager (Manufacturing)

Location: Onsite at the Sparks, Nevada manufacturing facility, Monday–Friday

What you will do

• Lead sourcing activities for the Haws site, including commercial negotiations, supplier contracts, and supplier performance management.
• Develop sourcing strategies and execute supplier transitions, resourcing initiatives, risk mitigation activities, and strategic sourcing projects.
• Identify global and low-cost-country sourcing opportunities aligned with total-cost objectives.
• Use spend analytics, market intelligence, supplier benchmarking, cost modeling, digital procurement tools, and AI-enabled solutions to support decisions.
• Partner with Engineering, Product Management, Operations, Quality, and Supply Chain on sourcing initiatives and new product introductions.
• Establish sourcing metrics and drive continuous improvement in operational and financial performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
• At least 7 years of progressive experience in sourcing, procurement, supplier development, engineering, or supply chain within manufacturing, industrial, or engineered-product environments.
• Experience leading cross-functional initiatives involving cost reduction, supplier development, value engineering, design-to-cost, productivity, and new product introduction.
• Experience developing sourcing strategies, managing suppliers, supporting global and low-cost-country sourcing, and negotiating commercial agreements.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, project leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency with ERP systems, spend analysis tools, and Microsoft Office applications, with adherence to applicable laws, regulations, policies, and safety requirements.

Nice to have

• MBA or master’s degree in supply chain management, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• CPSM, CPM, APICS, or equivalent professional certification.
