Sourcing Manager (Retail)

Location: Plano, Texas, United States; office work required five days a week, Monday through Friday

What you will do

• Develop, execute, and track category strategies and policies for indirect, non-merchandise spend.
• Define category needs and specifications in collaboration with business stakeholders.
• Direct strategic sourcing activities, including industry and supplier research, bidding, supplier selection, and contract negotiations.
• Collect, analyze, and report monthly category spend and savings data.
• Perform value analysis and total cost of ownership assessments to identify savings opportunities.
• Coordinate sourcing activities, stakeholder planning, budgeting inputs, and contract negotiations with the Legal department.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.
• At least four years of relevant strategic sourcing experience.
• Prior management and project management experience.
• Knowledge of procurement and strategic sourcing across multiple retail-related, non-merchandise categories, including IT, Marketing, Business Services, HR, and Supply Chain.
• Strong negotiation, conflict resolution, communication, interpersonal, analytical, documentation, and supplier relationship management skills.
• Must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States; visa sponsorship and transfer of employment visa sponsorship are not available.
