What you will do

  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies for nuclear-grade materials and subcontractor services.
  • Conduct supplier market analysis, quote requests, competitive bidding, negotiations, and supplier selection.
  • Manage supplier agreements, non-disclosures, terms and conditions, onboarding, and strategic supplier relationships.
  • Partner with engineering, operations, quality, manufacturing, legal, commercial, and regulatory stakeholders on procurement requirements and engineering changes.
  • Lead supplier qualification, audits, scorecards, development initiatives, and dual-sourcing opportunities.
  • Identify cost-reduction and supply-chain optimization opportunities while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, engineering, business administration, or a related field.
  • 5–10+ years of sourcing or supply chain experience, preferably in nuclear, energy, aerospace, or another highly regulated industry.
  • Experience managing technical procurement, supplier negotiations, and certified quality and safety programs.
  • Understanding of nuclear regulatory frameworks and quality standards, including ASME, NQA-1, 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, and ISO 9001.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and engineering requirements.
  • Strong negotiation, contract management, communication, leadership, stakeholder-management, ERP, and supply-chain analytics skills.

Nice to have

  • Master’s degree in business administration, supply chain, or engineering.
  • Professional certification such as CPSM, CSCP, or PMP.
  • Nuclear-specific training, such as NQA-1 Lead Auditor training.
