Engineer II, Private Cloud (RHEL)

Location: Based at the hirify.global Dallas Tech Hub in Plano, Texas; onsite two days per week

Annual salary: $92,200–$138,300, with potential bonus and equity eligibility.

What you will do

• Develop self-service capabilities and automation that help internal customers deliver business solutions quickly.
• Design and build cloud and on-premises infrastructure patterns for customer-facing applications.
• Collaborate with product management, systems architecture, engineers, and technology leaders on experimental solutions.
• Consult with internal customers and evolve platform operations using engineering and agile practices.
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, feedback, and continuous improvement across the team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technology field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 2 years of professional experience.
• Experience with Linux system administration, preferably Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
• Basic experience with Ansible and Git, plus familiarity with Red Hat Satellite or similar lifecycle management platforms.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
• Currently authorized to work full-time in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available for this role.

Nice to have

• Red Hat Certified System Administrator certification.
• Red Hat Certified Engineer certification.
• Red Hat Certified Specialist in Ansible Automation certification.
