What you will do

• Build, secure, operate, and maintain Linux and Windows infrastructure, including servers, workstations, networks, firewalls, and security devices.
• Develop and maintain container-centric platforms, software deployments, patching processes, lifecycle management, and end-to-end CI/CD pipelines.
• Maintain standard operating procedures, network drawings, configuration documentation, and system accreditation materials.
• Conduct technical inspections, identify security weaknesses, support compliance, and coordinate risk mitigation with Information Assurance and IT management.
• Diagnose and resolve moderately complex technical issues, escalating problems beyond Tier II support when needed.
• Develop, test, verify, and validate system specifications and functional performance; provide guidance to junior team members.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in systems administration or network administration.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field.
• Security+ certification or a higher professional certification.
• Current Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility is required, with the ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.
• Experience with RHEL and Linux administration, automation, platform design, containerization, and CI/CD; knowledge of Kubernetes, GitLab, Podman, Ansible, Packer, Sonatype Nexus, and HashiCorp Vault.
• Knowledge of LDAP, Active Directory, WSUS, VMware, Veeam or equivalent, Nessus, Splunk, network security, encryption, firewalls, intrusion detection, and regulations including NIST, RMF, and ICD 503.
