Vice President, Associate General Counsel (Health Law)

Salary: $171,900–$326,900 per year

What you will do

• Provide legal advice and strategic support for Medicare Advantage, Part D, and Duals products.
• Serve as lead legal counsel for the Medicare brand and advise business and compliance partners on healthcare regulations.
• Research and interpret requirements covering Medicare operations, risk adjustment, medical loss ratio, quality, Stars, and agent or broker matters.
• Review, draft, and negotiate contracts, policies, procedures, and related documents.
• Manage provider disputes and outside counsel while supporting efficient, high-quality legal services.
• Partner with product, Compliance, Population Health, Network, Finance, and other leaders on risk identification and practical solutions.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor degree required.
• 7+ years of health law experience required.
• Bar admission and current good standing required.
• Experience with risk adjustment matters, including audits and complex vendor relationships, is preferred.
• Experience with Medicare Stars, Medicare bids, benefit structures, and people leadership is preferred.
