Utility Billing Analyst (Utility Billing)

Location: Chicago, Illinois, United States; fully on-site at the Chicago headquarters

Salary: $55,000–$65,000 USD annually, plus bonus and benefits

What you will do

• Act as liaison between utility expense management partners and residential communities.
• Coordinate receipt and payment of utility bills with the utility expense management provider.
• Analyze utility data to identify unusual usage patterns and work with community teams to determine causes.
• Complete accurate monthly resident billing in accordance with state and local regulations.
• Troubleshoot billing issues and provide customer support for utility-related inquiries.
• Participate in training and prepare utility data reports as requested.

Requirements

• College graduate with at least one year of utility billing experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams.
• Ability to manage multiple complex projects, prioritize effectively, work with minimal guidance, and meet deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.
