Location: Remote within the U.S. (listed as Remote - CA); periodic travel to project sites required, up to 25%.

Salary: $77,866–$97,333 per year.

What you will do

  • Build and maintain project-level cost forecasts in partnership with project managers and field operations.
  • Lead monthly reporting, including cost performance summaries, variance analysis, and executive-ready presentations.
  • Develop analytics models, scenario plans, and early-warning indicators to forecast project costs and manage risks.
  • Analyze cost, schedule, and resource trends; conduct root-cause analysis and recommend corrective actions.
  • Maintain cost tracking and reporting systems, resolve coding and cost discrepancies, and lead data quality audits.
  • Support field improvements, lessons-learned reviews, and portfolio trend reporting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Economics, Data Science, or a related analytical field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in project controls, FP&A, or another data-driven role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; Power BI, Python, and/or SQL experience is highly preferred.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, data management, and business communication skills.
  • Ability to translate complex technical data into clear recommendations for senior leadership and create professional presentation decks.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future employer sponsorship; ability to travel as needed is required.
