What you will do

• Prepare monthly pre-bills, invoices, work-in-process reports, draft bills, schedules, and billing adjustments.
• Determine matters to be billed according to firm and client guidelines.
• Coordinate electronic bill submissions with E-billing Analysts.
• Review and communicate updated client billing instructions, including task codes, billing formats, and reporting requirements.
• Track accounts receivable, collection efforts, and matter budgets.
• Provide financial information, support cost analyses, attend meetings, and coordinate matter closing.

Requirements

• 5+ years of job-related law firm billing experience.
• Experience with Aderant Expert.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Intermediate Excel and strong Microsoft Office skills.
• Detail-oriented, efficient, and able to solve problems in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively and communicate with personnel at all levels.
