Program Planning and Scheduling Analyst III (Aerospace)

What you will do

• Develop, coordinate, and manage integrated master plans and schedules for complex programs.
• Track project plans and schedules, maintaining horizontal and vertical integration across the enterprise.
• Perform schedule risk analysis, identify critical paths and network logic conflicts, and implement mitigation actions.
• Evaluate schedule compliance, investigate completion shortfalls, and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare and present schedule status reports, analyses, and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
• Collaborate with project managers and cross-functional teams while supporting advanced scheduling practices and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in project management, engineering, business administration, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• At least 4 years of experience in project planning and scheduling; 8 years may substitute for a degree.
• Experience with Microsoft Project Professional or a similar scheduling tool.
• Knowledge of Earned Value Management principles and systems.
• Background in the aerospace and defense industry with strong communication, follow-up, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance are required.

Nice to have

• Experience with DCMA 14-point analysis, IPMR DI_MGMT-81861, MIL-STD-881, integrated master plans and schedules, WBS development, and resource-loaded schedules.
• Advanced critical path, schedule risk, schedule health, and schedule performance analysis experience.
• Experience with resource leveling, rolling-wave planning, stakeholder training, coaching, and mentoring.
• Knowledge of DoD, government contracting, and public auditing policies and procedures.
