TL;DR
Senior Schedule Analyst (Microsoft Project): Developing and maintaining integrated project schedules for complex DoD acquisition programs with an accent on schedule integration, critical-path analysis, baseline management, and variance reporting. Focus on building Integrated Master Schedules, analyzing schedule health and change impacts, and coordinating status updates with multiple stakeholders.

Location: St. Inigoes, Maryland, United States; onsite role

What you will do

  • Develop and maintain multiple project schedules, including vendor schedule integration into a master schedule.
  • Create Work Breakdown Structures, Integrated Master Plans, and baselined Integrated Master Schedules.
  • Analyze critical and near-critical paths, schedule variances, progress, trends, and schedule health metrics.
  • Evaluate change orders, scope changes, schedule deviations, and resource loading or leveling impacts.
  • Lead schedule development and status update meetings with stakeholders.
  • Produce schedule progress reports, metrics, and trend charts.

Requirements

  • At least 10 years of experience developing and maintaining project schedules, including two or more years analyzing complex systems in a DoD acquisition environment.
  • Advanced practical experience with Microsoft Project, including task networking, baselines, remaining-duration statusing, float analysis, critical paths, and schedule-health metrics.
  • Experience comparable to a scheduler supporting NAVAIR and basic understanding of the NAVAIR organization and acquisition process.
  • Master’s degree in a business discipline, or a bachelor’s degree plus four additional years of applicable experience.
  • U.S. citizenship and eligibility to complete a government security investigation are required; an active Secret Security Clearance is required.
  • Strong analytical, documentation, communication, customer relations, multitasking, and independent-working skills.

Nice to have

  • OnePager Pro experience or proficiency.
  • DAU Level II certification or equivalent in Program Management or Business.
  • PMI-SP, Microsoft Scheduling Certificate, or PMP.
  • Earned Value Management training or experience and PMO experience.
  • Exposure to engineering, test and evaluation, software development, acquisition, procurement, or logistics projects.
