Workday Financials Manager - US or Canada

Location: Chicago, United States; the position is also listed for Canada. Travel up to 50% is required.

What you will do

• Lead Workday Financials implementations and related project or workstream delivery.
• Plan, shape, and deliver technology solutions aligned with client goals.
• Lead Workday Financials design and customer confirmation sessions.
• Configure Workday Financials and Customer Accounts functionality.
• Build trusted relationships with senior university and hospital executives.
• Mentor and support the professional development of project staff.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of proven experience directly implementing Workday.
• At least 2 years of experience leading Workday Financials implementations.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
• Strong analytical, communication, time-management, prioritization, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects of different scales and durations.
• Ability to travel up to 50%.

Nice to have

• Workday certification or equivalent practical experience in Financial Accounting, Core Financials Banking and Settlements, Expenses, Customer Accounts, or Grants Management.
• Experience configuring or deep understanding of Workday Payroll Accounting.
• Experience with project or workstream planning and management.
• Thought leadership demonstrated through speaking engagements or publications.
