Cylinder Maintenance Technician (Industrial Gas Equipment)

Location: Nashville, TN – Whites Creek, United States; onsite at the Whites Creek facility

What you will do

• Repair, rehabilitate, and upgrade industrial and beverage liquid cylinders.
• Receive and inspect cylinders, remove old signage, perform Normal Evaporative Rate testing, polish tanks, and install new decals for shipment.
• Maintain liquid cylinders, shop tools, inventory, and general facility housekeeping.
• Perform warehouse and forklift tasks while maintaining required certifications.
• Identify and communicate problems, complete inspection reports, and support other LCR rehabilitation stations as needed.
• Follow safety procedures, use required personal protective equipment, attend safety meetings, and report accidents promptly.

Requirements

• Must be able to read and write in English.
• Safely use electrical and manual hand tools and work outdoors in a wide range of temperatures.
• Read and interpret safety instructions, technical procedures, governmental regulations, MSDS, manuals, and mechanical drawings.
• Operate a forklift and maintain appropriate certifications.
• Manage workflow, meet deadlines, troubleshoot problems, and perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Pre-employment and random drug testing, physical screening, and background screening are required.

Nice to have

• High school diploma or GED.
• Basic computer skills or willingness to complete training.
• Experience with cryogenic gases, high-pressure piping or tubing, HVAC, or plumbing.
• Hands-on welding or brazing experience.
