HR Technology Analyst (Workday)

What you will do

• Design, build, test, deploy, and maintain Workday Payroll, Absence Tracking, Time Tracking, Benefits, business processes, workflows, security models, and related configurations.
• Configure time entry templates and codes, time calculation and valuation rules, eligibility and validation rules, meal and rest penalties, schedules, accruals, leave types, and absence worklets.
• Lead cross-functional projects from requirements gathering and solution design through testing, deployment, maintenance, and user acceptance testing.
• Build and support Workday integrations using Studio, EIBs, and third-party code; validate data quality, business process logic, and processing results.
• Develop complex custom reports using Report Writer and Calculated Fields, and maintain system documentation, test plans, and scripts.
• Troubleshoot HRIS issues, investigate root causes, support time clocks and data reconciliation, and report system defects to the vendor.

Requirements

• 4+ years of Workday configuration experience focused on Payroll, Absence, and Time Tracking.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Human Resources, or a related field, or equivalent combined education and experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish are required.
• Experience designing complex pay calculation rules, accrual configurations, time valuation, eligibility rules, and payroll workflows.
• Workday technical skills including Studio, EIBs, and reporting are required.
• Payroll and Time Tracking experience is required; experience with time clocks is expected, with Dormakaba experience preferred.

Nice to have

• Workday Absence, Benefits, Project Time Tracking, and Attendance Tracking experience.
• Experience with Dormakaba time clocks.
