Manager, Sales (Broadcast/Digital)

Location: Peoria, Illinois, United States

Salary: $125,000–$140,000 per year, plus commission and bonus.

What you will do

• Lead the day-to-day operations of the broadcast and digital sales departments.
• Develop and execute strategies to exceed local, new business, and digital revenue targets.
• Drive new business development and cultivate client relationships with Account Executives.
• Manage inventory, revenue forecasting, budgets, expenditures, and Accounts Receivable.
• Recruit, train, evaluate, and develop sales professionals.
• Make decisions related to employee hiring, promotion, evaluation, and termination.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Mass Communications, a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Three to five years of media sales experience.
• Fluent English and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience guiding, motivating, and coaching personnel while setting and monitoring performance standards.
• Experience establishing long-range objectives and the strategies required to achieve them.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record and proficiency with standard office equipment.

• Experience with Wide Orbit Traffic, Strata, Matrix, and comScore.
