Quality Engineer - Warranty (Automotive)

What you will do

• Manage customer warranty complaints from registration and acknowledgment through investigation, corrective action, follow-up, and closure.
• Maintain customer communication and coordinate with customer service, responsible colleagues, supervisors, and management.
• Execute 8D and other corrective action reports using 5 Why, Ishikawa, and related quality tools.
• Maintain complaint and action-tracking databases, document observations, and prepare regular management reports.
• Monitor approved improvements, participate in warranty cost calculations and technical factor assessments, and prepare monthly warranty cost reports.
• Provide training on customer complaints and improvements and contribute to continuous improvement activities.

Requirements

• English at communication level is required.
• Knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 14001, OHSAS, and VDA standards.
• Hands-on experience with APQP, FMEA, Control Plans, SPC, MSA, PPAP, Pareto, Ishikawa, 8D, and PDCA.
• Experience in audit management, including knowledge of IMDS and ES Test Planning.
• 3+ years of experience in quality or a related technical role.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, science, or a related field, with a process-oriented mindset and strong problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• IATF 16949 auditor certification.
• VDA 6.3 auditor certification.
