Transducer & Lab Engineer Speaker (Automotive Audio)

Location: Onsite in Szekesfehervar, Fejer, Hungary; the role may require onsite work at a hirify.global facility in the EU or North America. International travel of up to 5% is required.

Salary: Ft 11,709,000–Ft 17,173,200 gross annually.

What you will do

• Support loudspeaker production, prototype builds, validation activities, and laboratory operations.
• Perform electroacoustic, electrical, mechanical, and durability testing using TRSS, Klippel, and approved equipment.
• Prepare samples, prototypes, and production parts for measurements, validation, and engineering investigations.
• Assemble speaker systems, perform basic rework and teardowns, and support inspections and troubleshooting.
• Maintain laboratory equipment, fixtures, tools, test setups, calibration tracking, and sample inventories.
• Document test data, photographs, observations, and reports while supporting product launches, warranty, and quality investigations.

Requirements

• Technical degree, diploma, vocational certificate, associate degree, or equivalent technical education.
• Fluent Hungarian for daily plant communication and basic English for interaction with global teams.
• Experience in automotive loudspeaker development, production support, validation testing, or related hardware engineering.
• Hands-on experience with electroacoustic measurements, TRSS/Klippel systems, and structured engineering test reports.
• Practical experience with prototype builds, sample handling, early-phase product development, procurement, logistics, and supplier communication.
• Working knowledge of GD&T, DFMEA or DRBFM, PPAP, and DVP&R; proficiency in problem-solving methods and acoustic product testing.

Nice to have

• Experience with PLM or PDM systems such as Teamcenter.
• Exposure to automotive OEM audio engineering or audio product development.
• Experience supporting product launches, production transitions, or manufacturing quality investigations.
• Experience working with global, cross-functional engineering teams.
