Transducer & Lab Engineer Speaker (Automotive): Provide engineering-level technical support for loudspeaker production and validation at the Hungary plant with an accent on electroacoustic measurements, prototype builds, test planning, and issue resolution. Focus on executing advanced measurements with TRSS and Klippel, managing sample logistics, analyzing production issues, and supporting product launches and warranty investigations.

Location: Onsite at hirify.global facility in Székesfehérvár, Hungary or other facilities in the EU or North America. Ability and willingness to work onsite required; up to 5% international travel.

What you will do

• Act as primary interface to global teams for loudspeaker production, validation, manufacturing, and test activities.
• Plan, execute, and analyze electroacoustic measurements using TRSS, Klippel, and other equipment.
• Lead prototype, pilot, and sample activities including procurement, supplier coordination, and logistics.
• Develop and optimize build/rework procedures, perform inspections, teardowns, and engineering analyses.
• Define and execute functional, electrical, acoustic, and durability test plans aligned with DVP&R.
• Manage local storage database for part traceability and compliance; resolve build/test/production issues.
• Support product launches, post-SOP activities, warranty investigations, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Acoustics, or related field.
• Fluent in English and Hungarian required for plant collaboration.
• Experience in automotive loudspeaker development, production support, or validation testing.
• Hands-on with electroacoustic measurements, TRSS/Klippel, and structured test reports.
• Practical experience with prototype builds, sample handling, procurement, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Working knowledge of GD&T, DFMEA/DRBFM, PPAP, DVP&R; proficient in problem-solving methodologies (8D, etc.).
• Familiarity with electronic components, acoustic/electrical testing tools.

Nice to have

• Experience with PLM/PDM systems like Teamcenter.
• Exposure to automotive OEM audio engineering or product launches in manufacturing.
