Molding Technician I - 2nd Shift (Injection Molding)

Location: Norwich, Connecticut, USA; onsite, 2nd shift

What you will do

• Install mold tools in injection molding machines and prepare equipment for production.
• Perform job changeovers by removing and storing molds and auxiliary equipment.
• Safely remove and set molds using overhead cranes.
• Make hydraulic, water, and electrical connections and verify the correct mold and materials.
• Communicate production issues to the supervisor and fill in for the Press Attendant as needed.
• Improve mold-setting efficiency, reduce downtime, and maintain good housekeeping and environmental practices.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read and understand work orders.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and technical ability.
• Comfort using hand tools.
• Ability to climb ladders frequently.
• Ability to work onsite in Norwich, Connecticut, on the 2nd shift.
