Manufacturing Technician I

What you will do

• Review material controller settings at the start of each shift.
• Inspect press grinders and ensure they operate correctly and are not full.
• Clean hoppers, loaders, grinders, presses, and surrounding areas during material or color changes.
• Install materials and set and calibrate color feeders on presses.
• Replace, remove, and store gaylords containing material, parts, and regrind scrap.
• Maintain good housekeeping and follow measures to prevent pollution and environmental impact.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to read and write English.

Nice to have

• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience using hand tools.
• Experience operating a forklift.
