Process Technician I (2nd Shift)

Location: Norwich, Connecticut, USA; onsite, 2nd shift from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM

What you will do

• Set molds in presses and run production using established processes.
• Set up, start, and troubleshoot injection molding machines, tools, molds, and auxiliary equipment.
• Adjust molding processes to maintain safety, quality, and production efficiency.
• Investigate quality problems, identify root causes, and collaborate with the quality department on solutions.
• Communicate production issues and operational needs to the supervisor through designated procedures.
• Support 5S, safety, housekeeping, and trainee development activities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of experience in injection molding, with an emphasis on processing and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of raw materials and their processing characteristics.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work with all molds and auxiliary equipment.

Nice to have

• Experience with Engel and Sumitomo injection molding machines.
• Background in Scientific Molding Principles.
• Experience with thermoplastics.
