Injection Molding Process Technician - 2nd & 3rd Shift (f/m/d) (Injection Molding)

Location: Aurora, IL, United States; onsite work on 2nd or 3rd shift

Salary: $31–$41 per hour USD; $5,000 sign-on bonus

What you will do

• Start up and shut down production molds and confirm mold changeovers, including auxiliary equipment and EOAT.
• Operate forklifts and overhead cranes safely to handle molds.
• Verify that the correct molds and materials are used and perform minor in-press mold cleaning.
• Support consistent production and work with quality and engineering to meet functional and cosmetic specifications.
• Log and communicate process changes to keep process parameters current.
• Maintain 6S and SMED principles and perform minor EOAT troubleshooting and repairs.

Requirements

• Ability to work the assigned 2nd or 3rd shift.
• High school diploma or equivalent and 3+ years of injection molding processing experience.
• Experience setting up and starting molds, robots, automation, and auxiliary injection molding equipment.
• Technical knowledge of injection molding issues involving molds, materials, machines, and processes.
• EOAT robot programming and setup experience.
• Basic knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and fluid power systems, plus Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
