Location: On site in New Albany, Ohio or Tulsa, Oklahoma

Salary: $89,000–$151,000 per year, depending on level. Listed compensation range: $74,551.00–$151,132.50.

What you will do

• Support Transmission Field Services during final commissioning and verification of planned and unplanned transmission-grid work.
• Review upcoming system outages for applicable transmission configuration changes.
• Review engineering drawings and project information to align systems of record with as-built conditions.
• Perform root-cause analysis of system-of-record discrepancies and identify process improvements.
• Ensure accurate facility ratings and compliance with applicable NERC and industry standards.
• Provide technical guidance, coordinate engineering activities, lead meetings, and conduct training sessions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited program, with level determined by experience; acceptable alternatives include qualifying engineering graduate degrees or a Professional Engineering license for Engineering Technology graduates.
• Senior level: typically 4+ years of related engineering experience with a bachelor’s degree, or 2+ years with a master’s degree or PhD.
• Principal level: typically 8+ years of related engineering experience with a bachelor’s degree, or 6 years with a master’s degree or PhD.
• Professional Engineer registration in any U.S. state or Puerto Rico is encouraged for Senior and preferred for Principal roles, subject to applicable requirements.
• Ability to interpret codes and regulations, analyze complex engineering problems, coordinate work, and make decisions using uncertain or conflicting data.
