Network Engineer 1

Location: Bluffdale, Utah, United States; on-site. United States citizenship and an appropriate security clearance are required.

Salary: $45.92–$79.48 per hour, before benefits.

What you will do

• Provide network support involving system-level design, architecture, enterprise security boundaries, and security controls.
• Design, install, and configure datacenter network infrastructure.
• Configure Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, and IPSEC VPNs.
• Work with CAN/MAN/LAN infrastructure, packet capture software, TCP/IP, and routing and switching protocols.
• Support stateful firewalls, L3/L4 access controls, network monitoring, and security protection.
• Handle on-call support and track tasks in Remedy or another ticketing system in a live-call environment.

Requirements

• TS/SCI clearance with an agency-appropriate polygraph is required.
• United States citizenship is required due to federal contract requirements.
• Three years of demonstrable network engineering experience with a degree, or five years without a degree.
• Experience in LAN engineering, network architecture, monitoring, security, and protection.
• Datacenter network design and architecture experience.
• Ability to support on-call requirements.
