What you will do

• Provide network communication services supporting High Performance Computing sustainment capabilities.
• Design and maintain datacenter, LAN, MAN, and CAN network infrastructure.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot routers, switches, load balancers, firewalls, VPNs, and other security devices.
• Support routing and switching protocols, TCP/IP, L2/L3 protocols, stateful firewalls, and L3/L4 access controls.
• Work with virtualization products including VMware and Solaris containers.
• Participate in on-call support and track tasking through Remedy or other ticketing systems.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required; the most recent polygraph must be within the last seven years.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline, or 10 years of network engineering experience in lieu of a degree.
• At least eight years of demonstrable experience in network engineering, LAN architecture, monitoring, security, and protection.
• DoD 8570 IAT II-level certification.
• Datacenter network design and architecture experience, including Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, and IPsec VPN installation and configuration.
• Ability to work in a live-call environment and support on-call requirements.
