What you will do

• Provide network communication services supporting High Performance Computing sustainment capabilities and Intelligence Community missions.
• Design and support datacenter, LAN, CAN, and MAN network infrastructure, including security boundaries and enterprise security architecture.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPNs, and other security devices.
• Apply TCP/IP, L2/L3, routing, switching, stateful firewall, and L3/L4 access-control technologies.
• Support virtualization environments, including VMware and Solaris containers.
• Participate in on-call support and track tasking through Remedy or other ticketing systems.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required; the most recent polygraph must be within the last seven years.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline, or seven years of experience in lieu of a degree.
• At least five years of network engineering experience in LAN, architecture, monitoring, security, and protection, or seven years without a degree.
• DoD 8570 IAT II-level certification.
• Datacenter network design and architecture experience, including Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, and IPSEC VPN installation and configuration.
• Working knowledge of Atlassian Tool Suite and the ability to work in a live-call environment.
