What you will do

• Deliver advanced network support, including system-level design, architectural planning, and enterprise security implementation.
• Design and maintain secure network boundaries across datacenter virtualization and CAN, MAN, and LAN environments.
• Configure and optimize TCP/IP stacks, routing and switching protocols, stateful firewalls, and Layer 3 and Layer 4 access controls.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot routers, switches, load balancers, security appliances, and related physical infrastructure.
• Use packet capture and analysis tools to monitor and troubleshoot network performance.
• Create system diagrams and present high-level technical solutions to senior management and stakeholders.

Requirements

• At least five years of Network Engineering experience within the Department of Defense.
• Bachelor’s degree in Network Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field; alternatively, 10 years of total Network Engineering experience.
• Experience designing and architecting datacenter networks, including Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, and IPsec VPNs.
• Expertise with Cisco IOS, CatOS, and NX-OS; Cisco routers and switches; F5/Cisco load balancers; Juniper devices; Infiniband; Fibre Channel SAN; and IPsec-based VPNs.
• DoD 8570 IAT II certification.
• Current government clearance, completed background investigation, and polygraph required.
