Licensed Project Architect

Location: Coral Gables, Florida, United States

Salary: $80,000–$120,000 annual

Engineering and design organization working on complex architectural projects.

What you will do

• Lead the production of architectural drawings and specifications for permitting and construction.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to maintain technical accuracy and design integrity.
• Support design development, technical solutions, and project problem-solving.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, ADA requirements, and constructability standards.
• Supervise and mentor junior architects and technicians.
• Participate in construction administration, including RFIs, submittals, site visits, documentation, and QA/QC.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Architecture.
• Architectural licensure is required.
• At least 10 years of experience in architectural design and production.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
• Strong knowledge of architectural detailing, building systems, codes, and permitting processes.
• Strong communication, organizational, time-management, leadership, and collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• LEED accreditation.
• Experience with SketchUp, ArchiCAD, Rhino, Lumion, V-Ray, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Experience at a leading U.S. or international architecture firm.
