Project Architect (Revit)

Location: Empire State Building, New York, New York, United States; full-time onsite

Compensation: $119,317.24–$136,362.56 per year

What you will do

• Lead the technical production of construction documents, drawings, and specifications for assigned building projects.
• Direct technical coordination across engineering disciplines and outside consultants to produce coordinated, conflict-free documents.
• Own technical detailing, document quality, model quality, and specification integration through Design Development and Construction Documents.
• Manage day-to-day production and mentor production staff while working with the Design Lead and Senior Project Architect.
• Contribute technical content to proposals and participate in national technical leadership sessions and standards development.

Requirements

• Registered Architect with New York State registration, or the ability to obtain it within an agreed period after hire.
• 5–10 years of professional architecture experience, including construction document production and multidisciplinary technical coordination.
• Proficiency in Revit/BIM for architectural production.
• Working knowledge of New York City and applicable New York State building codes.
• Experience coordinating engineering disciplines and outside consultants through Design Development and Construction Documents phases.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have

• NCARB certification.
• Experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud.
• Public-agency or institutional project experience in transit, education, justice, or civic projects.
• CSI/CDT credential or specification-writing experience.
• Experience with alternative delivery methods, including design-build.
