Senior Designer (Architecture)

Location: Hybrid in Akron, Cincinnati, Cleveland, or Dayton, Ohio, United States; ability to travel required

Salary: $68,415–$122,252 per year, with location-specific new-hire ranges.

What you will do

• Lead the production of detailed architectural plans, construction drawings, and supporting documentation.
• Create and coordinate 2D and 3D designs using CAD and BIM software.
• Review projects for constructability and applicable building code requirements.
• Coordinate architectural projects with civil, structural, mechanical, plumbing, and electrical sub-consultants.
• Support quality assurance reviews, redline completion, and drawing checks.
• Mentor and train Designers and Lead Designers while helping meet project deadlines.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.
• At least 6 years of related experience.
• Proficiency with Revit and/or AutoCAD, Bluebeam Revu, Autodesk Construction Cloud, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Outlook.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks in a high-pressure environment, and meet deadlines.
• Ability to travel and work in the listed hybrid Ohio locations.

Nice to have

• Registered Architect (RA) licensure.
