Project Architect (Workplace)

Location: New York, New York, United States. Four days per week are in-office, with flexibility to work outside the office on Fridays. Travel is required 30–35% of the time for client engagement, design collaboration, and on-site project work.

Suggested rate: $90,000–$110,000 USD.

What you will do

• Develop creative and technically sound solutions for workplace design challenges.
• Coordinate drawings, specifications, BIM standards, and project documentation with the project team.
• Lead collaboration and generate design ideas for small to medium-sized workplace interiors and select exteriors.
• Apply advanced architectural concepts and integrate QA/QC procedures into project deliverables.
• Coordinate with the Project Manager and BIM Manager to maintain quality, budgets, schedules, and work plans.
• Provide technical guidance to less experienced staff and participate in client presentations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture.
• At least eight years of professional architecture experience.
• Professional architectural licensure required.
• Proficiency in Revit, Bluebeam, and standard architectural software.
• Competence in technical design, solution evaluation, communication, multitasking, and problem-solving.
• Willingness to travel 30–35% of the time and work in the New York office four days per week.

Nice to have

• LEED AP or other professional certifications.
• Current portfolio or work samples submitted in PDF format.
