Salary: $149,671.54–$171,053.19 per year

What you will do
- Lead complex architecture projects independently from kickoff through closeout.
- Manage day-to-day architectural production and coordinate complete construction document sets.
- Own drawing set and specification coordination within the project scope.
- Direct technical coordination with multidisciplinary teams and outside consultants.
- Apply NYC Building Code requirements through the DOB filing and approval process.
- Mentor Project Architects and designers and contribute to firmwide technical standards and pursuits.
Requirements
- Registered Architect (RA); New York State registration must be held or obtained within 6 months of hire.
- 15+ years of progressive architecture experience, including independent project delivery.
- Fluency in the New York City Building Code and NYC DOB filing and approval processes.
- Experience producing coordinated construction document sets for public-agency and institutional clients.
- Proficiency in Revit/BIM and strong technical detailing, constructability, and specification coordination skills.
- Ability to coordinate subconsultants, manage production sequencing, and collaborate with design and project management leads.
Nice to have
- NCARB certification.
- Experience in transportation, education, justice, health and well-being, civic, or other listed market sectors.
- Experience with design-build or other alternate delivery methods.
- CSI/CDT or DBIA credentials.
- Experience mentoring and developing architectural staff.
