Control Systems Engineering (CSE) Lead (Oil and Gas)

What you will do

• Lead the technical and operational execution of process control system scopes, including DCS, telecommunications, instrumentation, and process analyzers.
• Manage engineering design execution according to applicable specifications and standards.
• Control project cost, scope, schedule, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and documentation.
• Develop scopes of work, construction packages, engineered-item requisitions, and spare-parts lists.
• Analyze project risks and facilitate safety and constructability reviews.
• Resolve technical and commercial issues while coordinating with engineering, design, procurement, project controls, document control, leadership, clients, and other stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• 10+ years of experience in industrial oil and gas, refining, petrochemical, or heavy industries.
• 5+ years of experience in technical control systems leadership.
• Experience developing process control specifications and control system designs, leading initiatives, and managing suppliers.
• Experience with DCS, PLC, SIS, BMS, instrumentation, electrical schematics, logic diagrams, and panel schedules.
• Knowledge of telecommunications, cybersecurity, and process analyzer engineering, with strong communication, organization, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• PE or P.Eng. certification.
