Sr Systems Security Engineer (Cybersecurity)

Location: Lone Tree, Colorado, United States; office or hybrid environment

Estimated starting salary: $143,487.14–$197,294.82 annually, plus performance-based annual incentive pay.

What you will do

• Lead the design and implementation of secure IT infrastructure.
• Perform advanced security monitoring, threat analysis, risk assessments, and vulnerability assessments.
• Direct incident response, digital forensics, breach documentation, and impact analysis.
• Develop and enforce security controls, protocols, and security baselines.
• Build and harden Windows virtual machines, Active Directory domains, hypervisors, domain controllers, trust relationships, and PKI certificate services.
• Create, test, and deploy Group Policy Objects and mentor junior security engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in systems security, network engineering, information technology, or a related engineering discipline, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of experience in IT security or a related field; 12 years required in place of a degree.
• Expert understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices.
• Experience with NIST, ISO 27001, and other security frameworks and standards.
• Current/active Top Secret U.S. security clearance with SCI eligibility is required.
• U.S. citizenship is required for employment; visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• ISSE CAP, CISSP, CISM, Security+, CISA, CASP+, MCSE, Linux, or CCNP Security certification.
• Experience with firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and antivirus software.
• Experience in the aerospace or defense industry.
