Manager, BI Analytics (Power BI)

Location: Phoenix, Arizona, USA; in-office 4 days per week and remote 1 day per week. Travel by air, car, or other transportation may be required up to 10% of the time.

What you will do

• Develop and mature a standard BI and analytics product lifecycle framework within Agile/Scrum and CI/CD environments.
• Define and deliver product requirements, use cases, analyses, process maps, testing, training, releases, and support materials.
• Work with product owners to create project plans, monitor performance, and execute product development roadmaps.
• Profile and analyze source-system data and support operational reporting for field operations.
• Conduct working sessions with operations stakeholders, manage backlog updates, and build stakeholder buy-in.
• Lead and develop analysts while presenting operational metrics to business stakeholders and senior leadership.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in commercial or industrial waste-hauling operations, or equivalent experience with a top-tier consulting, IT, transportation, or logistics firm.
• At least 3 years leading product development, process improvement, or technology deployments in a large organization.
• At least 3 years leading enterprise BI platform development using tools such as Power BI, Qlik, or Tableau.
• Experience developing and deploying standard operational reporting, preferably in waste, transportation, or logistics.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies, enterprise technology support strategies, and vendor relationships.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, including the ability to influence without formal authority and present to executive leadership.

Nice to have

• Project Management certification.
• Experience with PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Visio.
