Business Analytics Consultant (Power BI)

Location: In-office in Pittsburgh, PA; Brecksville, OH; Charlotte, NC; Washington, DC; or Houston, TX

Base salary: $63,750–$127,500 per year; incentive eligible

What you will do

• Design, develop, maintain, and optimize complex Power BI, Tableau, and other reporting and dashboard solutions.
• Analyze and process data, build models and report templates, and develop dynamic data-driven solutions.
• Recommend performance measures, including lifts, efficiencies, confidence intervals, and other statistical metrics.
• Provide actionable reports and communicate analytical findings to business clients, senior management, and varied audiences.
• Consult on business intelligence, predictive analytics, analytical tools, data marts, and solution implementation.
• Support process improvement, re-engineering, project management, and risk-aware decision-making.

Requirements

• University or college degree, typically a bachelor's degree, or a comparable combination of education, job-specific certifications, and experience.
• 2+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Strong technical expertise in SQL, Power BI, and Tableau.
• Knowledge of analytical thinking, business intelligence, business analytics, data integration, performance metrics, and data-driven decision-making.
• Business acumen, consulting, critical thinking, decision-making, strategic planning, and effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to analyze data, develop analytical solutions, communicate complex conclusions, and make recommendations to business partners and senior management.
• Understanding of banking, lending, and credit products.
• Customer-focused approach and ability to assess and manage business risks in line with the Enterprise Risk Management Framework.

Nice to have

• Experience with ETL processes, hirify.global source systems, and enterprise data repositories.
• Experience with Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate, Hadoop, Python, advanced data engineering, or data science.
• Experience with market research, qualitative research, and concept development.
