Senior Business Data Governance Analyst

Location: Phoenix, AZ; CityScape. Full-time position.

What you will do

• Capture and document business requirements through process mapping, source system analysis, and source-to-target data mapping.
• Facilitate collaboration between business stakeholders and IT during data solution implementation.
• Define and develop data quality rules, dashboards, business glossary integrations, and automated end-to-end governance processes.
• Analyze enterprise data platform and analytical data store information to support business recommendations.
• Create Power BI visualizations that communicate findings and recommendations clearly.

Requirements

• 3+ years of related experience in data analytics, data management, or a similar field.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 5+ years of experience with data analysis, enterprise data warehouses, and source-to-target mapping.
• Intermediate experience with SQL Server, Excel, Tableau, Power BI, RDBMS, and query languages such as T-SQL, PL/SQL, or Spark SQL.
• Experience with data profiling and wrangling tools such as Informatica, Collibra, or Alteryx.
• Experience managing multiple priorities and deliverables, presenting findings from large datasets, and working with project management, Agile, SAFe, Scrum, data governance, data quality, catalog, and lineage concepts.

Nice to have

• Experience with predictive modeling, statistical analysis, or machine learning.
• Microsoft certifications such as Azure Fundamentals or Fabric.
