Program Manager (Automotive)

Location: Zeeland, Michigan, United States; on-site work at hirify.global facilities is required and remote work is not available.

What you will do

• Lead multiple product development programs involving engineering changes and new or existing technologies.
• Define program scope, strategies, integrated plans, budgets, schedules, and delivery expectations.
• Identify and resolve risks affecting cost, quality, timing, resources, and customer requirements.
• Lead program reviews, product launches, and cross-functional governance with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, quality, and commercial teams.
• Promote manufacturability, scalability, manufacturing commonality, cost efficiency, and long-term product supportability.
• Coach and mentor other program managers and contribute to process and product roadmap improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 7+ years of progressive product development and/or manufacturing experience in the applicable business area.
• Demonstrated success leading complex cross-functional programs with significant customer engagement and business impact.
• Advanced knowledge of program and project management methods, including risk management, cost control, schedule management, and cross-functional integration.
• Mastery of automotive standards and requirements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; authorization to work in the United States is verified through E-Verify.

Nice to have

• 3–5 years of experience applying project or program management fundamentals in an automotive product development environment.
