Plant Engineering Supervisor

Location: Cordova, Illinois, United States; onsite at the plant. Travel may include up to 10% domestic or international travel. Relocation assistance may be authorized.

Expected compensation: $109,202–$133,469 per year, including base pay and variable incentive pay if eligible.

What you will do

• Create and maintain a safe, healthy, and sustainable workplace.
• Supervise and coordinate contractor resources supporting plant business needs.
• Plan and execute preventive maintenance for facility equipment.
• Identify and support initiatives that improve equipment reliability and effectiveness.
• Provide technical guidance to site personnel and support cost-reduction programs.
• Communicate project and program status and results to stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher and at least three years of manufacturing experience, or a high school diploma or higher and at least six years of manufacturing experience.
• Experience must be from a private, public, government, or military environment.
• Experience in manufacturing maintenance or reliability is beneficial.
• Experience coaching, mentoring, and developing technicians is beneficial.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employment visa sponsorship.
• U.S. person status may need to be assessed because of U.S. export control and defense contract requirements.

Nice to have

• Engineering or a related technical degree.
• Project management experience and electrical or mechanical experience in manufacturing operations.
• Contractor management experience.
• Understanding of environmental and regulatory compliance, NFPA, and OSHA standards.
• CRL, Certified Maintenance Manager, CMRP, RE, or CAMA certification.
